Ammonite Yarns
We are a small LYS located in a village just 12 miles west of Cardiff (five minutes from j34 of M4 and very easy to find). We have been open since 2015 and have built up a thriving community of knitters and crocheters with drop-ins and classes for both. We also host spinning lessons every few months so there is something for everybody.
We sell a mixture of big name yarns, local indie dyer wools and Welsh wools as well as patterns, work bags, accessories and some haberdashery. The shop is co-owned by Ruth and Jenny who met at a local knitting group who are always happy to help customers with any queries about patterns and yarns.
What we love about Cambrian Wool -
We had been looking for Welsh yarns to complement our brand yarns and love the Cambrian 4-ply that we stock. The wool has such vibrant colours and such a strong link to its origins in Wales.
