Flock
Flock is an online knitting store based in East Sussex. We stock a considered range of yarn, knitting tools and books, as well as other wool items. Our focus is on sourcing sustainable and ethical products from like minded producers.
We hope to inspire people to think carefully about the materials and tools that they choose for their projects, and enable them to make beautiful knitted items that will bring joy and be treasured for years to come.
What we love about Cambrian Wool -
When I first knit with Cambrian Yarn I was struck by how soft and luxurious it felt - not at all what I expected from mountain sheep! It’s a real pleasure to knit with, and produces a bouncy fabric with a nice sheen. I particularly love the range of colours - there are so many combinations that work beautifully together. I’ve recently knitted a hat in lovely mossy green Gwymon 4-ply. It adds a great pop of colour on grey wintry days, and is also incredibly cosy. I’m already planning lots more colour work projects in this gorgeous yarn.

We stock a growing range of yarns, including from Iinouiio, Romney Marsh Wool and The Raw Wool Company, and needles and tools from Hiya Hiya, Knitpro, Clover and Merchant and Mills. We only ever stock yarn and tools that we have tried and loved using ourselves, and all our yarns are nylon free and non-super wash.
