Our products:

Our products are pure wool. We cannot be responsible for allergies or reactions in your handling of it.

We have tried to make all our photos represent the colours of our yarns as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that your own screen may show the colours differently. If you are in any doubt about the colour, style or feel, please order samples first.

Dye batches may vary; please order sufficient for your project. We will let you know if there is not enough stock of the same dye batch for your order.

Any printed material supplied will have colours represented only as accurately as printing allows.

Descriptions are as objective as possible and made in good faith, but you must accept that individual interpretation may differ.

Patterns: we present our designs in as much detail as we think will enable you to make an informed choice, but we do not guarantee you will like your project once completed by you.

Our patterns are error-checked and samples knitted, but we do not guarantee them error free, or that they will be written in a style that you may personally prefer – we’re all different! We welcome feedback, and will answer queries by email.

Whilst aiming to offer high quality and attention to detail for customer satisfaction, we do not guarantee the outcome of the use of our yarns or wool – this is down to individual use, interpretations and styles and out of our control.

Payment and Ordering

Our online shop is powered by Woo Commerce and payments are accepted via Worldpay. Payment and ordering is secure and your card details are not stored. Please follow the instructions given as you progress through your order; contact us if you have problems or queries.

If you wish to pay by BACS or cheque please email us for details.

If the goods you have ordered are out of stock, your order will not be completed. We’ll let you know when your choice can be delivered, and you decide whether to proceed. However, in the event of us not being able to procure the stock for your order, we reserve the right to cancel your order.

Postage and Despatch

Orders are sent out on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week, with the cut off point being 5pm the previous day.

Please contact us if your order is urgent or you require a more specific delivery date.
Post and packing is at cost as follows:

Up to 1kg: Royal Mail 2nd class, £4.50 (cost of sending plus small charge for the packaging)
Contact us before ordering if you require a more urgent delivery.

1-2kg: My Hermes courier £5.00

2-5 kg: My Hermes courier £6.80

Overseas orders: Please contact us


If you are unhappy with your yarn or kit purchase please return within 14 days in an unused condition, and with all original labels and any internal packaging in place, fit for resale. We will not accept returns where the yarn appears to have been used or labels are missing. Please notify us by email that you are returning the purchase.

All responsibility for returns lies with the sender – we recommend you obtain proof of posting as a minimum.

We will refund the purchase price but not the return postage, unless the item is faulty.

Patterns: digital files are not refundable. You may cancel your order within the 14 days ‘cooling off’ period unless you require the file before the 14 day period has elapsed, in which case you waive the right to cancel the order.


Your contact details are required for your order so we know how to contact you – we don’t use this for any other purpose and delete details once we know you are happy with your order.

You may sign up for our newsletter if you wish to keep in touch. We will not automatically add you to our email list.

We do not pass your details to any 3rd party.
