Venetia’s Yarn Shop
My focus is on natural fibres and British wool, so I stock Cambrian Wool. We offer workshops, a regular knit and natter, and we have an Art Gallery (The Gallery Upstairs) on the first floor.
What we love about Cambrian Wool -
I chose Cambrian Wool because it is British and there is remarkably little of that about. I have stayed with it because it is lovely to knit with - my two favourite garments being the Manou Sweater which I knitted in DK, and Stephen West's MKAL 2023 which I knitted in 4ply.
As well as Cambrian Wool we also stock -
West Yorkshire Spinners, John Arbon Textiles, Jamieson & Smith, Fibreworkshop, Herd and Appletons as well as Lang, Schoppel, Hjertegarn, Malabrigo, Stylecraft and some local Indie dyers.
